Sometimes when I feel lonely
Sometimes when I feel blue
Sometimes when I feel lonely
I need you,

Sometimes when I feel sorrow
From words and deeds unkind
Sometimes when I feel sorrow
You ease my mind,

And sometimes when I'm down
On every thing I know,
I loose my held-up feelings
When I play you,

Sometimes when sun is shining
And still my skies are gray

You light my day.
